Newly signed G-Unit artist Precious Paris has hopped back onto Twitter after nearly a two-year hiatus and promised fans she is here for the long haul.
Making her first tweets heading into the weekend since May 2010, Paris thanked fans for their support following an official induction to the Unit days prior.
“Welcome to PARI$,” she tweeted December 9th.
Thanks for the love everybody! I’m glad you like The Big 10. I’m looking forward to adding a lil spice to the game.”

Her boss, 50 Cent, has announed plans to make Paris an official member of the new G-Unit affiliated crew, Ryder Gang.
Fans will get to hear from 50’s new subdivision of G-Unit on the project as well. “I’m introducing the new regime. Not G-Unit but Ryder Gang. You’ll hear from Paris a new female artist on the team,” 50 says of his new recruits, which also includes rapper Kidd Kidd. (VIBE)
Her official induction was announced roughly 72 hours by Fif.
“I’ve got a new female artist I signed to G-Unit Records, her name is Par-is, Paris, P.$., it’s going down, you understand,” 50 said in a video. “She’s from South Jamaica Queens, flavor. Actually, she’s been around for a while. I’ve known her for quite some time. If you a G-Unit fan and you listen and you heard [‘Kitty Kat’], that was actually Paris’ performance back then. She actually came and did vocals for us on that [Terminate On Site] record but now she’s ready and you’re going to see Paris.” (50 Cent Music)
G-Unit producer Sha Money XL previously talked to SOHH about female rap star Nicki Minaj putting pressure on all lady emcees.
“Nicki Minaj has set the bar so high that whoever the new female rappers is, and I’ve heard one or two females so far and they’re horrible and I’m real hard on female rappers, seriously. I ain’t with the bullsh*t, don’t come too hard, you gotta be sexy and look like Nicki Minaj and sh*t. She got it.” (SOHH Guest Star)
