Atlanta rapper Future's baby mother, Jessica Smith, is reportedly upset over the popular hip-hop artist pulling a fast one on her by lying to a judge over how much money he has in the bank.
Despite him agreeing to pay just over $1,600 in monthly child support, Smith wants to dig even deeper into Future’s pockets.
TMZ broke the story … Future and baby mama Jessica Smith struck a child support agreement in which the rapper agreed to pay $1,662 a month for their 10-year-old son … predicated on his monthly income which he set at $16,516. But days after they hashed out the agreement, Smith says Future — real name Nayvadius Wilburn — went on TV and boasted he carries $25,000 cash on him at all times … MINIMUM. Smith immediately went back to court, filing new docs to invalidate their deal and increase his child support obligation. She believes his actual monthly income exceeds $50,000. (TMZ)
Aside from the baby mama drama, the Southern hip-hop artist recently confirmed his romance with fellow musician Ciara.
“She’s amazing, incredible, everything that comes along with those words. I could tell you all the negativity that comes along with me and her is not true because our personal life is our personal life. Sometimes present and think it’s true like they have facts but at the end of the day we know what’s true and we know what’s not true and anything negative from that situation, eh man, we’re not even representing that. Fresh from her European promo tour, Ciara was spotted back at her favorite restaurant, Crustacean, in Beverly Hills with her favorite man, Future, on Monday. The rumored couple exited together, smiling for fans and photographers, as they made their way to the valet. (Rap-Up)
Outside of romance and legal troubles, Future has been targeted by Grammy-winning singer/rapper T-Pain over his ample usage of Auto-Tune.
“I don’t think Future gets the technology very well. I don’t think he understands how it actually works,” he said. “He’s writing great songs. He’s a great writer. Keep in mind, you can use Auto-Tune and you can know how to work perfectly, but you still have to know how to write a good song. Just because he sound good doesn’t mean he’s saying good stuff. As far as how he uses Auto-Tune, I don’t think he knows how it works. I think he’s thinking that you just turn it on, and then it just happens. But nah, he writes great, great hooks and great songs themselves. I just don’t think he actually knows how to use Auto-Tune yet.” (Hot 93.7)
