Atlanta rapper Future has stepped forward to discuss what recently motivated him to publicly speak out and let the world know there are no tensions between him and "Would You Like A Tour?" headliner Drake.

Although Future said he has bigger things to worry about than what the public thinks, the rap star admitted it was necessary to clear the air for his fans’ sake.

“They still might not even believe it when they see us right there on the stage together,” Future said, referring to Drake. “So any rumors and anything that we need to address, we just go out every night and show love to each other. I don’t care [what people think] but they care. So for the people that care about it, it was time to address it then and just kill all that noise.” (Fuse News)

After strong openers which ranged from Drizzy’s PARTYNEXTDOOR and R&B crooner Miguel, Future and Drizzy set the tone with their sets at the “Would You Like A Tour?” launch last month.

Following sets from PARTYNEXTDOOR, Miguel, and Future, the Toronto rapper opened with “Tuscan Leather.” He performed new material off his No. 1 album Nothing Was the Same for the first time including “Worst Behavior,” “305 to My City,” and “Pound Cake.” At one point, he was elevated on a round platform above the stage so he could see the entire audience and shout them out individually. “I feel like motherf*ckin’ Bon Jovi up here,” joked Drizzy. The crowd went wild when he brought out Pittsburgh’s own Wiz Khalifa for the city’s anthem “Black and Yellow.” “Bro Drake brought me on stage and I turned into a Pixburgh ratchet. Haha. All good,” tweeted the Taylor Gang MC. (Rap-Up)

Last-minute reports suggested Drake and Future would, in fact, hook up for the nationwide tour.

The show is back on. After news broke on Tuesday that Future was kicked off Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour?” due to comments made to Billboard, it’s being reported that the “Honest” rapper has been added back. According to Hot 107.9, the two stars have worked out their differences and contracts between both parties have been signed. The “Would You Like a Tour?” starring Drake, Miguel, and now Future (again), kicks off this Friday in Pittsburgh, PA. Miss Info: If Drake can look past Future’s off-hand comments to Billboard, then maybe there’s hope for all of us. Seems fitting on the day that the Republicans finally came to their senses and realized that sending us all into a US default would be cutting off the head the nose. The only source so far is Beestroh from Atlanta’s 107.9 FM, but he claims Future has signed a contract to join Drake out on the road. (Miss Info TV)

Reports earlier the same week claimed Drake had taken extreme measures following a Billboard article’s release and had removed Future off his new tour.

Hot rappers Drake and Future are facing off in a $1.5 million feud after Drake demanded supporting act Future be kicked off his tour in a beef over a Billboard article, Page Six can exclusively reveal. Drake was booked to tour with Future and R&B singer Miguel on a 39-city schedule kicking off Friday in Pittsburgh. Future went to Billboard magazine’s office on Oct. 4 to give editors a listen to his latest album, “Honest.” Associate editor Erika Ramirez published a story with quotes from Future, which she also posted on her Twitter feed. “Not only is future’s #honest album interesting, so are his thoughts on Drake’s #NWTS album,” Ramirez wrote. She then went on to quote Future: ” ‘Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do’ — Future.” After reading the story, Future’s horrified managers argued with the mag that his quotes were off the record and taken out of context. We’re told the online story was edited, but Ramirez didn’t delete her tweets. (New York Post Page Six)
