The ATL hitmaker jumped onto his Twitter page to clear his name and end the beef rumors.

“Respect to Billboard, disappointed on being misquoted..always love for my fam Drizzy Drake,” Future tweeted October 4. (Future’s Twitter)

An excerpt from Future’s Billboard interview is the source of his issues.

“Honest” isn’t only about love, but “about showing emotion,” which Future insists will win “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love,” Future says. (Billboard)

Drake recently pushed back the start-up date behind their national tour.

Drake’s “Would You Like a Tour?” already has a teasing name, and now fans will have to wait a little longer for their live fix. The rapper has pushed back his tour with Miguel and Future “due to an intense rehearsal schedule and technical production requirements that will be part of the show,” according to Pitchfork. Drake was originally set to start the tour on September 25th in Portland, Oregon but he’ll now kick off on October 18th at Pittsburgh’s CONSOL Energy Center. (Rolling Stone)

Prior to becoming BFF’s, Future had an issue with Drake not showing up for their “Tony Montana” music video.

Time heals wounds, however, and when MTV News caught up with Future outside of Aaron’s Amphitheater at Lakewood in Atlanta, he confirmed that all was well between him and Drake. “It was nothing. [I got a call] like, ‘Man, I’mma put you on the jet, come through,’ ” Future said of the conversation with Drake that made the guest appearance possible. “I was in Orlando, Florida, because I [had] a show so it was just a matter of the time, and we timed it down to the T, and I’m here. [It’s the] first time we performed together onstage; it’s turnt up. [There are] no issues, and we’ve got a lot more to come, so stay tuned — me and Drizzy got some more sh– coming.” (RapFix)
