Bad Boy Entertainment’s French Montana has stepped forward to address being called out by protégé Chinx Drugz‘s mother on the one-year anniversary of his death.
Appearing on the “Wendy” talk show this week, Montana did not deflect from the controversy.
“I think that’s the police job. I love Chinx’s mom but I think me and her never had a relationship. I never spoke to her when he was alive. I might have spoke to her one time. The second time I spoke to her was at the funeral. She just asked me, ‘What’s going on with my son?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know. I told him to stay out the streets, don’t be driving around 4 in the morning by yourself or with you and another person.’ She said ‘You’re not his father.'” (“Wendy”)
Last month, footage surfaced of Chinx’s mother calling out French and Bad Boy head Diddy for not showing enough support.

Chinx’s ex-girlfriend Malika Haqq recently remembered his life.
April reports provided some more insight on Chinx’s fatal shooting.
Lt. Hall of the 107 Precinct detective squad says when Chinx got to Queens Boulevard and Main Street, someone walked right up to the driver’s side and fired multiple shots into the car. Contrary to what many believe, it was not a drive-by but more like an assassination. A dark-colored Altima or Mercedes followed the Porsche and stopped right behind it at the light. (Fox 5)
