French Montana Wants To Go From Miley To Monkeys: “I Can Handle It”

Bad Boy Records star French Montana recently discussed his love for animals and why he would ride with a monkey over a dog any day of the week.

Asked to name his dream pet, Frenchie said a monkey would top the list.

“I love animals, man. I love animals,” Montana told MTV News last week. French has a few pets that he favors, but said the tigers are for the camera only. “My dream pet? I like a couple of them, man: monkey, I love dogs. See tigers, I don’t know, I can’t be playing with something like that,” the Bad Boy rapper admitted. “A monkey, I can handle it. A dog, yeah; I would get a monkey.” (MTV)

A couple years ago, Montana’s rap pal Waka Flocka Flame joined a PETA campaign in light of his love for dogs.

Launching on February 22, Waka will be joining PETA’s “Ink Not Mink” campaign in Los Angeles, CA alongside Lady Gaga, Pink, and Mariah Carey, Flame’s publicist, Kali Bowyer said. When commenting on his involvement with PETA, the 1017 Brick Squad rep told XXL, “Animals should be treated the same as you would a kid. Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? Outside of pet love, Montana and pop star Miley Cyrus‘ new “Ain’t Worried About Nothin'” remix premiered online earlier this month.

Miley Cyrus hopped on the remix to her good friend French Montana’s song this week. Called “Ain’t Worried About Nothin,'” the original track was featured on French’s sophomore studio album, “Excuse My French.” Cyrus raps on the remix, spitting lines about the “three thick girls” in her video and a time when she “popped a molly,” the colloquial term for MDMA. The remix was teased earlier this year in a preview video. (Huffington Post)

Back in April, French gushed over his bond with the 20-year-old actress/singer.

“That’s my dog. That’s my peoples. We became friends at the Clive Davis Grammy party. I was sitting there with Puff. She was sitting there with Wiz [Khalifa]. She just kept looking at me laughing, I kept on looking at her laughing. I said, “What you laughing at?” She said, “I know you high like me.” After that, we became mad cool.
