According to French, some of Gucci’s comments raised his eyebrows not because of the vulgarity but due to the validity.

The “Pop That” rapper notes that some of the tweets were accurate, with information that only Gucci or someone in his camp could’ve known. “Whoever writing that, they gotta be real close to him,” French told MTV News. “Cause the situation that he was talking about with me, he wasn’t lying.” Gucci claimed that Deb Antney, Waka Flocka‘s mother and former manager to a host of rappers including French and Nicki Minaj, had stolen money from her clients. “60 k. French montana. Was. Laying in deb bed. Ask. Warner. 60 k advance I took as insult gave to your aunt t. Im rich bitch” Gucci tweeted. The tweet has since been deleted along with Gucci’s profile. Montana also said despite the perception, they were never best buds.

As for French, he admits that he and Gucci never had a close relationship but he wishes the beleaguered rapper, who was reportedly dropped from Atlantic Records following his rant, all the best, saying, “I just hope they get it together… Hopefully he get back on track.” (MTV)

With his @Gucci1017 Twitter account no longer active, reports suggest the rapper finally decided to delete the page this week.

It looks like Gucci Mane, 33, scares easy! Nicki Minaj, 30, Iggy Azalea, and rapper Tyga all fired shots back at Gucci after his insanely inappropriate Twitter rant on Sept. 9, and Gucci responded by completely shutting down his Twitter account just two days later. Guess he couldn’t take the heat! No one seemed to buy Gucci’s claims that he had sex with Nicki, Keyshia Cole, rapper Tyga’s girlfriend, and a long list of others. Some even believe his tweets were just a publicity stunt to boost album sales or get his career going again after he was dropped from Atlantic Records. Whatever the reason behind the rant was, Gucci seems to regret it because he deleted his Twitter account on Sept. 11. It seems the backlash was just too much for him. (Hollywood Life)

His former manager, who Gucci claimed hacked his account, has confirmed they no longer have a working relationship.

After he apparently tweeted salacious claims about women he says he slept with, ranging from Nicki Minaj to Ciara, Gucci Mane’s Twitter account seemingly has been deleted. According to published reports, the final tweet before the account went down alleged that the rapper’s ex-manager hacked his Twitter account. Although he declined to comment on the tweets, Gucci’s one-time manager Kevin “Coach K” Lee told Complex Music, “I haven’t managed him in three months.” For three consecutive days this week, Gucci made headlines and became a trending topic on the social networking site for apparently using Twitter to blasting artists, including Drake, T.I., Jeezy, Waka Flocka Flame, as well as slamming Atlantic Records and tweeting graphic detail on the women he supposedly bedded. Though the claim of hacking calls into question the authenticity of the tweets. (ABC News Radio)
