[With his “I’m Good” single continuing to gain momentum, New York rapper FR Eazzy talks to SOHH about grinding it out as a Far Rockaway hip-hop artist.]

For me, it’s like, “Wow, I’m really the next one to go out of Far Rockaway.” Honestly, we don’t have nothing. We don’t have any basketball players, no singers, no actors, nothing.

The only people that we really had were Stack Bundles and Chinx and now me. So it’s a lot of pressure but it’s more blessing than anything.

I feel like we have a black cloud over Far Rockaway. There’s not a lot of support here and even Chinx had to leave out of Far Rockaway to actually have them respect him as an artist and as a musician.

I feel sometimes with me, it’s the same thing. I have a lot of support from Far Rockaway but I feel like it took for me to go to Brooklyn for them to actually realize and respect me as an artist and as a musician.

It just feels good to be the next one to come out and put on for Far Rockaway because I just want the world to know Stack, Chinx and Far Rockaway are the three kings and that’s it.
