Foxy Brown Stands Next To Shyne, “We Still Stay On The Phone Forever”

New York rapper Foxy Brown has revealed her support toward deported emcee Shyne and said she is planning to link with him in Belize.

Although brief, Foxy tweeted about her relationship with the ex-Bad Boy Records artist.

“Gav’s good, thanks for the luv. From the Grand Jury to the G5…hatin’ b*tch! I stand firm in TRUTH and in CHRIST,” she tweeted Saturday (August 14).

“In Canada. My money on my boy Jean Pascal the “Haitian Heavyweight Champ” KO homeboy at the fight 2moro!”

“Flying to Belize to visit Shyne soon… luv u Ping! We still stay on the phone forever like our High School days.” (Foxy Brown’s Twitter)

After being freed from prison last October, Shyne was deported to Belize.

Jamal “Shyne” Barrow arrived in Belize at 2:40 pm local time on a Continental flight from Houston escorted by a U.S. Marshall following his deportation from the U.S. after serving almost nine years in a New York penitentiary for his role in a nightclub shooting in New York city. The rapper was processed by local police authorities at the airport’s V.I.P. lounge after which he was welcomed by his father Dean Barrow, Prime Minister of Belize, his mother Imeon Myvett and other members of his family and well wishers. Shyne arrived wearing a Harvard Law School sweatshirt, a full head of hair, headphones wrapped around his neck and sporting tzitzis reflecting his conversion to Judaism while in jail. he government closed down the airport’s public waving gallery and attempted to prevent the local media from covering his arrival but enterprising T.V. cameramen managed to get some footage through a chain link fence of Shyne entering the V.I.P. lounge and later exiting the airport. Aside from Shyne, Foxy has battled legal problems including an alleged assault case.

She may call herself “Don Diva,” but the singer intends to ditch her in-your-face attitude and tell jurors that she’s really just a mama’s girl who’s been trying to exorcise the nasty demons of her bad-girl past and now lives in her Prospect Heights brownstone with her mother, a source said. The sassy singer, whose real name is Inga Marchand, will flatly deny that a stare-down with neighbor Arlene Raymond escalated into a profane tirade and ended with her provocatively mooning the woman, the sources said. She faces felony charges from the July 21 incident. The latest legal case against the platinum-selling singer has already taken its toll on her creative energies, a source close to Foxy said. “Foxy can’t even sleep at night. This is truly a nightmare,” said the source. (New York Post)

Following her testimony, Brown spoke with media about being honest.

“I’m happy to have a chance to tell the truth about what happened,” Brown told reporters while leaving the courthouse. “Today my focus is on telling the truth. It feels so good to tell the truth. This thing has been such a nightmare.” Currently there is no decision on whether Brown will face felony charges for violating a restraining order the woman, Arlene Raymond, had against her.
