Former B2K Member Nearly Dies In China, “Thank You Lord For Saving My Life”

Former B2K singer Raz B nearly lost his life over the weekend as reports and a photograph prove he sliced his hand after falling through a glass door in China.

Reports of the freak accident emerged online almost 48 hours after the injury.

B2K singer Raz B nearly died Sunday in China — after accidentally falling through a glass door in his hotel room … slicing his wrist wide open … and losing a SCARY amount of blood. Raz — who had been performing in Shanghai before the accident — tells TMZ, he tripped hard inside his room … and when he tried to break his fall, he crashed through a sliding glass door. Raz says the broken glass caught his wrist and ripped it to pieces, tearing through ligaments, nerves, tendons … right down to the bone. Doctors reportedly worked on fixing his hand for close to five hours.

Raz says he immediately began gushing blood and quickly passed out. Someone else in the room then alerted the hotel, and an ambulance was called. Raz was rushed to Huashan Hospital Fudan University, where doctors operated to repair his mutilated wrist — a grueling procedure that took roughly 5 hours. Raz was released from the hospital Monday. He has since canceled his remaining tour dates — for now. (TMZ)

Following the operation, Raz took a moment to update fans on Twitter.

“MAN…. Cherish life and your loved one’s. You just never know. THANK YOU LORD FOR SAVING MY LIFE.,” he tweeted July 10th. (Raz B’s Twitter)

This all comes weeks after he landed an endorsement deal with a company called Jukkin Energy Drink.

It has been well publicized that Raz B, formerly of the multi-platinum group B2K has taken residency in China while on tour promoting his music independently. As he prepares for a brief return to the United States to promote his music, he has already landed an endorsement deal with Jukkin Energy Drink Inc., before his feet have even touched U.S. soil in almost two years.
