Rapper Flo Rida recently spoke on the accusations that he performed an act of animal cruelty while on a promo tour in Kentucky.
The Florida-based emcee spoke with radio personality Big Boy about how the incident began.
“We get to this intersection, I’m talking about this main intersection and this dude is walking down the street with an animal,” Flo explained. “So he stops right by my tour bus and holds it up and starts ripping it apart…My camera man just caught him on camera. Luckily he got it because we didn’t know later on they were gonna be talking about they had a warrant for our bus. So we were at the light and took off…I knew we was good…So they got the dude. They actually got a picture of the dude. We wasn’t the only ones that had a picture of the dude…They sent out they apologies and everything…Everybody in my camp, we scared to take a fish off the hook. You ain’t gonna catch us picking up any animal.” (Big Boy’s Neighborhood)
He previously released a statement responding to the claims.
“While no one in my party was in any way involved in any incident, the media report that I saw was sickening. As an animal lover, I would never want to see cruelty inflicted upon them.” (Statement)
