A few days ago, Fetty cleared up rumors about his visually impaired eye.

“I had glaucoma when I was little – matter of fact, my mother is here,” Fetty said during an interview. “I was six months when I – oh wait, I learned something new, I was ‘born’ with glaucoma, lost the eye at six months and then I got reconstructed surgery when I was twelve and I just stopped wearing the prosthesis because I didn’t want to look like everybody else. See, I didn’t get shot or hit with a firecracker – somebody said that I got shot in my face with a shotgun. I heard worse stories but the crazy thing about that is [my face is intact].” (TMZ)

This week, Fetty talked about rap star Drake remixing his “My Way” song.

“The thing I respect about Drake the most is that he’s not one of them artists that take his status and just do what he want with it. He has the status to just do anybody’s track, if he really wants to. I’m just a nobody compared to Drake, and he still actually asked me, ‘Is it cool if I do a remix?’ And even the way he said it—more like, ‘Can I bless it?’ He was thanking me for putting him on the remix, and I’m trying to tell him like, ‘No, thank you. You don’t understand what you’re doing for me.’ He’s definitely a very, very, very, very humble person.” (The FADER)
