Terror Squad leader Fat Joe lost his battle against becoming one of the millions of observers toward Jennifer Lopez‘s backside and admitted finally taking a glimpse after years of resistance.
Calling his J. Lo bond family-like, Joey Crack admitted he could not fight the temptation during a show last weekend.
“Honestly, I’ve never looked at J.Lo’s a**,” said Joey Crack, who will release his mixtape The Darkside, Vol. 2 on Halloween. “Never. It would be disrespectful for her to look at me like a brother figure and then when she turns around, I’m staring at her a**. But the other night, I’m watching the performance and she’s wearing some beige sh*t and I couldn’t avoid it. It was right there. [Laughs] So I finally seen it. I told her about it too and was like, ‘Yo, listen, that beige suit? I’ve always been the brother, but your a** was there, like…’ She started laughing.” (Rap-Up)
During her Mohegan Sun Connecticut concert last weekend, Joe came out to perform his “Lean Back” 2004 anthem along with other hits.
After Fat Joe filled in with his own “Lean Back” during another costume change, into an artfully desiccated dress like something out of Miss Havisham’s spring collection, Lopez shifted her focus to love. On a blue-lit stage wreathed in dry-ice smoke, she sang (live, this time) an acoustic version of her first No. 1 single, “If You Had My Love,” followed by “One Love,” from her latest album, “Love?” (Hartford Courant)
After Lopez announced a split from ex-husband Marc Anthony last summer, Joey Crack admitted how heartbroken he was to hear the news.
“It was “one of the saddest days of my life was the three of four days ago,” Fat Joe, told Fox News Latino. “That’s my favorite couple.” Fat Joe, whose real name is Joseph “José” Antonio Cartagena says he believes that J.Lo and Marc Anthony are a force to be reckoned with. “They are powerful Latinos, a powerful couple,” said Fat Joe. “I love them both.” The Bronx native, who referred to the couple “as family,” says he has plans to collaborate with both of them individually. “We are supposed to do a big concert coming up with J.Lo,” said Fat Joe. Weeks later, she finally addressed the publicized break-up.
Lopez opens up to contributing editor Lisa Robinson about her life with Anthony and the example she hopes to set for her children; she talks about her relationship with P. Diddy and breaking off her engagement to Ben Affleck; she’s honest about the diva rumors that surround her, and shares her attitudes toward money, fame, and especially love. “I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love,” Lopez explains, describing the passage that has brought her to her current state of mind. “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself–if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.” (Vanity Fair)
