[With the new Boys of Zummer tour officially launched, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Wiz Khalifa talk to SOHH about their offstage chemistry.]
I would say that it’s pretty natural, man.
Going into the tour, we were excited, but getting to know Wiz – he’s pretty much the most laid-back dude. Whenever we see him around, it’s just always kind of good vibes, always.
That’s really important on a tour because it can get monotonous backstage.
You can get homesick, that kind of stuff, so it’s cool to have like a partner out who’s really low key and really chill. -Pete Wentz
Yes, I agree. The chemistry, the word, natural, that describes everything.
We all see each other in passing, or have stuff to do together to promote the tour, but at the end of the day, it feels like we’re all there together.
There’s no real separation between camps or crews, and that’s what I look for when I’m on tour. It’s like that real brotherhood, we can talk about anything, or we can talk about nothing, but we’re still having a good time.
Yes, I enjoy just being around the band. -Wiz Khalifa
