Despite the scare, the vehicle was later discovered days after being stolen.

“In other news.. My turtletop van was stolen in DC this weekend.. They informed me they found it 2day.. Ppl still steal cars?? #WhoDoesThat,” Fab tweeted Tuesday (August 10).

“I mean, if u wanted to ride in the Turtletop Van, jus ask… I woulda said No.. But thats the better way 2 go about it…LOL.” (Fabolous’ Twitter)

Last month, Fab lost his rhyme-filled BlackBerry at a New Jersey restaurant.

Fabolous is still putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album, “There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music,” but he almost lost some of his rhymes at Morton’s Steakhouse in Hackensack, NJ, the other night. The rapper paid more attention to his BlackBerry than his meal, but forgot the phone when he left. (New York Post)

However, a restaurant employee noticed Fab’s phone and returned it to him.

Fortunately, a sharp server noticed the phone on the table and caught Fab in the parking lot as he was about to pull out. The rapper was noticeably relieved, thanking the employee repeatedly. (The Boom Box)

The rapper is currently putting together his upcoming There Is No Competition 2 EP.

Now that the funeral is over, the grieving process begins. Fabolous, in all-black-everything, pays his respects to the dead careers on the cover of his EP There Is No Competition 2: The Grieving Music Mixtape, rising August 31. The set features six songs from his Funeral Service mixtape, plus two new tracks “Lights Out” and “Girl You Be Killin’ ‘Em.” (Rap-Up)
