After recently calling his upcoming album Loso’s Way the “best” project dropping this year, Fabolous has upped the ante by labeling the forthcoming release a “classic.”
In addition to speaking about his new solo project, Fab also touched on the basis for the album’s accompanying movie.
“Loso’s Way is a classic man,” Fab promised in an interview. “We got Jay-Z, we got Lil Wayne, we got Ne-Yo, we got The-Dream, we got Red Cafe, we got Keri Hilson. We got Ryan Leslie, Paul Cain, Freck Billionaire, we got Kobe. I mean, I could just go on if you want but just let me know when it’s enough….I mean, I don’t like to say the word, but it’s a classic. You know what I mean, I don’t like to say the word but that’s what I think it is. I let the people’s think that…The movie, it’s kinda about my career, it’s based on a true story mixed in with everything that went on in my career. I don’t want to tell ‘em too much because I want ‘em to go in to see what it’s about too.” (Best of Both Offices)
Fab previously said he expected his new album to outshine 2009 releases including Rick Ross, Eminem and 50 Cent.
“The album is coming June 30th,” Fab announced in a video. “I’ve been holding the date for a little while just because I wanted to keep y’all just asking me. But now I gave y’all an answer. June 30th, Loso’s Way will be in stores. It’s one of the best album, nah, I’m just gonna go ahead and say it’s the best. I don’t know what’s coming after me but what I’ve heard before, I’m gonna say my album is the best album coming out. So make sure you go get that and become a part of this, MyFabolousLife. We also have four trailer videos we’re gonna release each week until the album comes out. So look for the first trailer which is probably gonna be called ‘Toast to the Good Life,’ and that should be out the first week of June. I will be in a lot of y’all cities for your Summer Jams or your summer shows this June.” (MyFabolousLife)

In addition to his album, Fab is reportedly preparing to hit the road alongside Rick Ross and Juelz Santana.
Three Def Jam all-stars are coming to a city near you this summer. Rick Ross, Fabolous, and Juelz Santana will kick off a joint tour in July, Rap-Up.com can exclusively report. Dates for the national outing have yet to be announced, but this is shaping up to be one of the season’s hottest tickets. This is not the first time the trio has worked together. All three rappers collaborated on The-Dream’s remix to ‘Rockin’ That Thang.’ (Rap-Up)
