While Loso gave props to the Seahawks, he predicted the Broncos would snatch this year’s Lombardi trophy.

“Live from @BryantParkNYC on @ESPN_FirstTake with @StephenASmith, @SkipBayless, & @CariChampion this morning. My Super Bowl winner prediction is the Denver Broncos. Not saying I don’t respect the Seahawks & I’m a fan of Richard Sherman’s play & rant talks, but I think Denver’s offense is strong & their Defense also is no slouch. Either way it should be a great Super Bowl. They also asked if Melo should stay wit the Knicks. And I believe he should. I believe he’s planting his feet in the NYC soil but it’s now the organizations job to put the right pieces around him. As a fan & a friend I love him playing in the city he was born in & reppin my city!” (Fabolous’ Instagram)

This week, Young Money’s Lil Wayne admitted he had a hard time believing one-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning‘s Broncos would fall to the Seahawks.

“Honestly, I don’t want to use the word ‘surprised,’ but it is unexpected to see Seattle in the Super Bowl. I expected Peyton. He’s been there before. And I love Russell Wilson. But they are not playing in Seattle. I just can’t see Peyton losing. … [Peyton] is special. He is one of a kind. I am glad I am able to live to see him, to see the kind of things he is doing.” (The MMQB)

Days away from the big event, rap mogul Jay Z is expected to ignite some Super Bowl festivities with a show next weekend.

Jay Z will headline DirecTV’s Super Saturday Night party during Super Bowl weekend on Saturday, Feb. 1. The invite-only event will take place at DirecTV’s SuperFan Stadium at New York’s Hudson River Park Pier 40, co-hosted by Mark Cuban‘s AXS TV and Eli Manning. (Billboard)

Leading up to the Super Bowl game, additional hip-hop artists will perform around the area.

Are you ready for six concerts? While two lucky teams will be gearing up to play the game of a lifetime, artists like Drake, J. Cole, TLC, and Diddy will be gearing up to perform the concert of a lifetime. For this year’s Super Bowl festivities, VH1 presents Super Bowl Blitz: Six Nights + Six Concerts, which will be hosted by Nick Cannon and Stacy Keibler. All the action will go down in the greater area of New York City, including the five boroughs and New Jersey. The concert series will run from January 27 to February 1, and will air live at 11 p.m. EST. (Global Grind)
