New York rapper Fabolous is giving everyone hope they can fix any lingering family problems. The hip-hop artist has penned an open note about a falling out with his mom.
Loso went to Instagram this past weekend and spoke on making things right with his day one after a brief dispute.
Last month, Fab talked about his delayed joint Jadakiss album delay.
“We just take our time because we want it to be right because of the magnitude of the project means for hip-hop and New York City hip-hop. Also, we have samples that need to be cleared. Even the licensing thing with using the names Freddy and Jason. In this generation, soon as you say a project is coming, the people want it right away. We try to give people a little bit of the process through social media and Instagram. We’ll show pictures of a studio session with producers like Just Blaze or Harry Fraud. I thought that would be cool because in the ‘90s there were big collaborations, but there was no social media. There’s no pictures of Biggie in the studio with Bone Thugs and that’s something you would’ve wanted to see. Now, we get to do that with social media.” (Complex)
Recently, Fab hinted at the possibility of their project arriving around mid-January.
“Freddy Vs. Jason is on the way. We were trying to put it out next month in January, but we gonna drop something to go into it. I don’t want to give the whole thing, but we’re gonna drop something next month. Yeah, yeah. Low-key, Friday the 13th is next month. That’s all I’m gonna say. January 13 is a Friday. That’s all I’m gonna say. I know I shouldn’t have said that. That’s one of the projects that’s having a little sample [issue]. We might not be able to use – let me stop.” (Power 106 KMEL)
