Fabolous Names His Top 10 Rap/R&B Collabos

Fabolous has listed his Top 10 hip-hop meets R&B collaborations ranging from Method Man/Mary J. Blige‘s “I’ll Be There For You” to more recent hits like Jay-Z/Alicia Keys‘ “Empire State of Mind.”

In Fab’s first five, he included two of his summer hits dating back to 2003.

The rapper’s final five also included the late Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige’s “One More Chance” remix.

Jay’s “Empire State of Mind” landed atop Billboard’s Hot 100 last year.

Jay-Z will earn his fourth Hot 100 No. 1, but his first as a lead or co-billed performer, as his collaboration with Alicia Keys, “Empire State of Mind,” will top the chart to be released tomorrow. “Empire” takes Hot 100 Airplay Gainer honors as it rises 6-1 on the Radio Songs chart (up 15 million listener impressions to 109.5 million), the largest climb to No. 1 on that chart since Kanye West‘s “Stronger” jumped 7-1 on the chart dated Oct. 6, 2007. Currently working on a follow-up to 2009’s Loso’s Way, Fab recently dropped his retail EP, There Is No Competition 2.

Grammy-nominated rapper Fabolous’ There Is No Competition 2 EP debuted on the charts this week at No. 32. With one week in the books, Fab’s retail re-release pushed out 12,200 records. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
