Instead of dishing out an educational-based response, Fab said libraries are key places for the homeless.

Libraries might be outdated with their ridiculous books made of paper … but they still make great masturbation stations for the homeless … this according to rapper Fabolous. Fab was boarding a flight at LAX this week … so we obviously had to ask his opinion on America’s struggling libraries … and the rapper made a solid argument for their place in the digital age. Sure, real books are useless now … but if we tear down the libraries, Fab says “where else are the homeless gonna get to j**k off at, man?” Good question. (TMZ)

Outside of the Digital Age debate, Loso is expected to release a follow-up to 2011’s The Soul Tape in the near future.

Fabolous has been pretty quiet this year, only dropping a few songs and appearances. However tonight he went on Instagram to drop a video that all but confirms that there will be a new entry in his “Soul Tape” series of mixtapes coming before this year is out. Rapping over an instrumental for Drake’s “Paris Morton Music 2” Fab gives an enticing preview of what is to come. Could this hold the fans over until the release of his new album? Only time will tell. (Complex)

Initial plans were for Fab’s new solo album to arrive nationwide in mid-June.

Fabolous stopped by BET’s 106 & Park on Wednesday afternoon to world premiere his video with Chris Brown, “Ready.” Loso explained the video’s concept, and filming it in the Dominican Republic. The Brooklyn spitter used the appearance to announce his Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power album will hit shelves on June 18. When touching on features, Fab says to expect Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Future, Young Jeezy, plus a few more surprises. (Miss Info TV)

Last spring, Fab revealed his interest in snagging fellow New York veteran Nas and West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar for the project.

“Future’s on there. Rick Ross is on there as well, and I’ve been talking with Nas and trying to reach out to Kendrick,” Fab revealed in an interview when asked who would appear on his upcoming Loso’s Way 2 solo album. “[Release date?] Not yet. I’m looking like May-ish. Mid May, end of May.” (“Los Angeles Leakers”)
