Rappers Fabolous, T.I., Andre 3000, Drake and Kanye West will reportedly unite to contribute verses for R&B singer Chris Brown’s “Deuces” remix.
Via Ustream last night, Brown announced his star-studded remix collaborators.
He told fans: “I’mma let ya’ll know a little secret. We got the ‘Deuces’ remix coming. ‘Deuces’ remix features myself, Fabolous, T.I., Drake, Kanye West, and Andre 3000. I’m actually supposed to be getting Kanye’s verse any minute now. “I got everybody else’s very ready, so we’re waiting right now. We’re gonna put it together and have it to ya’ll either by next week or this week, probably Friday.” (MTV UK)
Last week, Brown also revealed the name of his forthcoming follow-up to 2009’s Graffiti.
“I’m putting out singles a lot right now, so everything’s coming together. But I definitely am gonna to say this and plug it quick: The name of my album is Fame so make sure you check it out,” Brown said when he recently played radio host on 102.3 The Beat in Austin, Texas. According to some reports, the title references a “Fame” tattoo a “Fame” tattoo the singer sports on his arm. The singer also urged fans to look out for the singles “Yeah 3X,” a high-energy track infused with chirpy techno rhythms, and “Calypso” which hetweeted about in early September. “I’m trying to get everything together, figure out what I’m [going to] do with the album,” he explained. As of late, Brown has been clocking in studio time with singer/songwriter Kevin McCall.
Brown has been hard at work in the studio, collaborating with singer-songwriter Kevin McCall, who penned his hit single “Deuces” as well as forthcoming album cuts “Rest of My Life” and the country-tinged “Another You.” “I write and collab with Chris. Awesome writer. Vibe off his energy a lot. We got a lot of recordsto get out,” McCall told Rap-Up TV, noting that he also penned a slow jam with Chris and Tank for Keri Hilson‘s sophomore project No Boys Allowed. (Rap-Up)
