New York rapper Fabolous has reflected on his short-lived Soulja Boy Tell Em feud and questioned why certain people misinterpreted their Twitter disses as a rap beef.
Writing via Twitter, Fab finally laid the speculation to rest and said his words were no more than jokes.
“I c yall still stuck on the soulja boy situation.. A couple jokes, & a lil bit of name calling is not BEEF, at least not where I come from,” he tweeted this week.
“Also whoever thinks its COOL for a 32 yr old 2 fight or talk tough to a 19 yr old on twitter is a LAME!”
“I may joke, make fun of situations, & start trending topics but I never call someone disrespectful names or made twitter threats” (Fabolous’ Twitter)
Despite the feud wrapping earlier in the week, West Coast rapper Game vouched to support Fab in the exchange of disses.
“Just noticed this @myfabolouslife & soula boy thing. Gotta ride wit Loso. #Compton2Brooklyn,” Game tweeted Friday.
“@myfabolouslife you a funny n*gga blood. Dyin at this n*gga fab tweets. Thought i was funny, this n*gga krazy”

Appearing on New York radio personality DJ Clue‘s nightly show this week, Soulja Boy and Fab publicly ended their Twitter feud.
“I thought that he was taking shots at me, when it was just jokes. It was a misunderstanding, a mis-communication,” Soulja Boy said on the radio on Wednesday night. “I’m about making money.” (All Hip Hop)
Fab spoke on how much buzz their dispute created.
“We’re not trying to make a LeBron special…we smoothed it out and back to the money,” he said. “I know people thought it was going to be a [Manny] Pacquiao fight, but we sat down like bosses.” During the interview, DJ Clue said that the pair had exchanged information so that there would be no more misunderstandings.
