Although Turk did not mention if this means a future Cash Money reunion is out of the picture, he did assure fans music mogul J. Prince‘s renowned indie label showed deep interest in him.

“J. Prince saw the movement I’ve created with my company YNT EMPIRE Inc. He was impressed with everything I was doing solo and wanted to be a part of making it larger than life. I won’t speak numbers, but let’s just say, I was made an offer you would be a fool to refuse. With his background and expertise in the industry and my new-found enthusiasm and talented young roster expect to see major things from Rap-A-Lot/YNT in 2014!” (AHH)

The new record deal reportedly went down last weekend.

Turk also posted a photo of himself donning a Rap-A-Lot Records shirt and confirmed the deal.

“J Prince Believed N Me It’s A Must Dat I Shine!!!!! #RAPaLOT #YNTEMPIREINC,” Turk posted onto Instagram December 9. (Turk’s Instagram)

Last month, Turk dismissed speculated plans of a Hot Boys reunion.

“And a lot of people’s hopes are up high about a Hot Boy reunion. About this, about that, a lot of people have been misguided…I want everybody to know that it ain’t no beef. I still got love for them brothers. I’m just moving forward without them. I’m doing me now — It’s no longer a Hot Boy reunion. Not in my eyesight. That ain’t gonna even happen.” (UGS Radio)

Despite some dicey headlines, Turk recently denied having any serious issues with YMCMB in light of not receiving the support he had hoped for when his father was killed this fall.

“I want to get your attention now. Enough is enough. It wasn’t no diss. It wasn’t no beef. It was letting them see me on tape. I know they on the road, I know they doing their own thing. But its been a week. I haven’t gotten a phone call. I was just reaching out in the best way and the only way I knew how at that time. I still haven’t had a phone call. I still haven’t gotten a response. I wasn’t asking them to send them no money or anything. A lot of people in the media they took it the wrong way and worded it and titled it the wrong way.” (XXL Mag)
