Heading into the weekend, Mane released his joint effort Trust God F*ck 12 to the masses.

Yesterday was October 17, a very important day for Gucci Mane’s Brick Squad 1017 label. However, Gucci has been in jail for over a month on a probation violation. Miraculously, that hasn’t stopped Gucci from releasing a new album, Trust God F**k 12, this one a collaboration with Rich Homie Quan. Intended to come out yesterday, it is finally available today. Included on the project is Rich Homie Quan’s diss song to Future, “A N***a.” (Complex)

According to reports, Gucci received some bad news about his legal situation a few weeks ago.

Things are going from bad to worse for rapper Gucci Mane, who recently opened up about his drug addiction and was arrested for carrying a gun and weed. Now, it looks as if Mane will be spending some time behind bars for probation violation. According to papers uncovered by WorldWrapFederation.com, the rapper was booked for probation violation on September 16, just two days after his arrest on September 14. He was sentenced this past Friday (September 27), receiving 183 days (six months) in jail. Beyond that, we don’t have any further information, but it looks as if Gucci still has five open charges surrounding his recent arrest (three of them regarding the firearm, one of them for the drugs, and another for disorderly conduct). Gucci has announced plans to enter rehab once he’s through with his legal troubles. (Exclaim)

The Atlanta hip-hop heavyweight recently hopped onto his Twitter page to openly apologize for going on a rant earlier in the month.

“Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I’m so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention. (Cont),” he tweeted September 22.

“I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I’m SORRY! (Cont)”

“I’ve been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit (cont)”

“I’m addicted to lean & that sh*t ain’t no joke. I can barely remember all the things I’ve done & said. However there’s no excuse. (Cont)” (Gucci Mane’s Twitter)

The rapper also revealed he was behind bars and would seek medical help.

“I’m currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help. I wanna thank everyone that has stood by me (cont)”

“during this difficult time. Please keep me in your prayers. #GUWOP”

“I wanna personally apologize to birdman ross & drake. Dem my n*ggas. I 100% regret my words & actions .”

“Keyshia Dior Kaoir I’m sorry. Please forgive me” (Gucci Mane’s Twitter)

Mane caught heat in mid-September after being arrested on multiple charges.

Gucci Mane was arrested this morning for allegedly cussing out a couple of cops in Atlanta while in possession of weed and a gun … TMZ has learned. Gucci Mane — real name Radric Davis — was taken into custody at 12:05 am this morning after one of his friends complained to cops about his erratic behavior. According to the report — the friend waved down police to help out … but when they approached Gucci he began “cursing and threatening them.” We’re told he was immediately taken into custody and police found a small amount of marijuana on the 33-year old rapper … as well as a handgun.
