Former Ruff Ryders member Eve has stepped up to address recent rumors and gossip claiming she is expecting her first child with celebrity boyfriend Maximillion Cooper.
According to E-v-e, the pregnancy buzz is nothing more than online chatter about nothing.
Don’t believe everything you read online. I was reminded of that after I did a quick Google search before getting on the phone with Eve, the Grammy-award winning rapper, and then congratulated her on being pregnant. She’s not. “It’s been circulating a lot. A lot. I don’t know where it came from,” Eve said of the pregnancy rumors. “I’ve been saying my due date is the album, May 14th, just turning it into that. But no, I’m not pregnant.” (Philly)
Back in early December, Eve and Maximillion got connected to baby rumors.
Eve has some good news that will Blow Ya Mind – she’s pregnant! The rapper, 34, is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Maximillion Cooper, 40. Eve and her man, who is a british billionaire entrepreneur, have been dating for a while and have even discussed marriage — but it looks like a baby is probably coming first! At a little more than three months along, Eve is starting to share the news with close friends and family. Even though this will be the first child for Eve, it will be Maximillion’s fifth. In June 2011, the Philadelphia rapper revealed having a love interest in her life and wanting to one-day become a mother.
“I want marriage, I want babies, soon, but later. I’m seeing someone at the moment. I’m not saying [who it is], but it’s been a year. It’s not a secret. He’s not a music celebrity.” (BANG Showbiz)
Outside of romance talk, Eve is currently preparing her long-awaited Lip Lock album release.
After several false starts, Eve is finally ready to make her return to music. The Philly raptress has announced an official release date for her first album in over a decade, Lip Lock. Eve’s fourth album will arrive on May 14 featuring appearances from Snoop Dogg, Pusha T, Juicy J, and Chrisette Michele, with production from Claude Kelly, Swizz Beatz, and more. “Lip Lock is the album I’ve always wanted to make and it represents me comingback into the game–lyrically locking it down. But I also like the title because it can be a play on words,” said Eve. (Rap-Up)
