Philadelphia rapper Eve recently talked about her status with former crew Ruff Ryders and the possibility of a reunion going down.
Despite having not seen leader DMX in a while, E-v-e hinted at the team aiming to get back together.
“I saw Swizz [Beatz] the last time he was in London. But I haven’t seen X. I feel like I probably will while I’m here…We’re trying to get together – anytime Ruff Ryders calls me, I’m there. No questions. Whatever they need. No problem.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
Recently, the married hip-hop veteran spoke on her publicized rap game hiatus.
“What kept me away wasn’t something that was conscious. It was more just life stuff. I moved to a new country, I got married. I just needed to settle again,” Eve revealed. “[The new music?] I think it’ll represent my growth. It’ll represent who I am and where I am at this point in my life.” (Rap-Up TV)
Back in 2013, Eve talked about the initial difficult in adjusting to British husband Maximillion Cooper‘s four children.
“I love it now. It took a minute. I was like, ‘I’m not sure this is what I want to be my life.’ You know? But honestly, it’s been three years now and we’ve gone on vacations together, and they’re the sweetest kids,” she explained in an interview. “We talk about having kids. We talk about marriage. The kids are excited. They want a brown baby sister.” (Sister 2 Sister)
Previously, the Philadelphia rapper talked about wanting to raise a family outside of the United States.
“I’d rather raise my kids globally than exclusively in the U.S. There is so much culture and history in Europe. We have culture in the U.S. but you have to look for it. A lot of the kids I’ve met in Europe are more mature because they’ve gotten to travel. In an hour, you can be in a different country. I’m going to be one of those crazy parents who wants her children to speak three languages. They’re going to hate me, but they will love me for it in the end.” (Complex)
