A funeral service for Maryland man Freddie Gray sparked emotional outbursts and violence today (April 27) in Baltimore.
According to reports, the funeral service at New Shiloh Baptist church filled quickly with mourners early Monday.
A small group of mourners started lining up about two hours ahead of Monday’s funeral. As they began filing into the church, the white casket with Gray’s body was opened, flanked by floral arrangements. A rope was placed in front of the casket to prevent people from getting too close. One person used a cellphone to take a photo of the body. (Huffington Post)

Outcries from people like the daughter of Eric Garner, who lost his life to police brutality last year, lit up the service.
She said she came after seeing video of Gray’s arrest, which she said reminded her of her father’s shouts that he could not breathe when he was being arrested on a city street. “It’s like there is no accountability, no justice,” she said. “It’s like we’re back in the `50s, back in the Martin Luther King days. When is our day to be free going to come?” (Huffington Post)

Reports claim police and youth clashed in Baltimore following the funeral.
Protesters and police converged on Mondawmin Mall in northwest Baltimore early Monday afternoon. People are throwing bottles, rocks and bricks, as demonstrations have spread to other areas. Several police officers have been injured by the projectiles, and protesters ‒ teens since joined by adult residents ‒ have refused to listen to law enforcement and disperse. (RT)

Local police announced gangs were uniting to go against them.
A police statement said: “The Criminal Intelligence Unit received credible information that members of various gangs including the Black Guerilla Family, Bloods, and Crips have entered into a partnership to ‘take out’ law enforcement officers.” (WBAL TV)
Gray’s arrest turned into a national story last month after appearing to be the subject of police brutality.
Gray, who was stopped April 12 after a foot pursuit through several housing complexes, should have received medical attention at the scene of his arrest, said Deputy Police Commissioner Kevin Davis. A witness said the man was yelling and indicated he was having difficulty breathing. (CNN)
Gangs unite lol. As if gangs care about black lives. Of course gangs don’t like cops. What criminals do.

If that was their intent they could. But they not trying to get out.. Its where they make their money.
If it’s true, then good for them!! Devils only respect money , violence and numbers
