In the video, Em finds himself in various compromising positions which includes a suicide jump and flying abilities.

Eminem’s “Not Afraid” music video has been out for full viewing pleasure. The Slim Shady is seen standing on the rooftop of a skyscraper, looking down the street. In one point, he is seen throwing himself from the edge of a destroyed road. “The overall concept is basically just being in a dark place and trying to get to the light,” Eminem previously said in an interview with Skyrock FM in Paris. The music video is directed by Rich Lee and was partly filmed on the streets of Newark, New Jersey in early May. (Ace Showbiz)

Last weekend, Em broke the news of his visual’s premiere date via Twitter.

“For those ‘patiently waiting’, the NOT AFRAID video will premier Saturday 6/5. Details later…#recovery” (Eminem’s Twitter)

The single made Billboard history around mid-May.

Eminem will join a very elite club tomorrow when the new Billboard Hot 100 singles chart is unveiled. “Not Afraid” is the lead single from Eminem’s new album “Recovery,” due out on June 22. The single is the first to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since Oct. 17, 2009, when Britney Spears‘ “3” danced in at No. 1. “Afraid” is only the second rap single to start at No. 1 following “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy & Faith Evans featuring 112, which began its 11-week run at the summit on the chart dated June 14, 1997.
