Eminem and Rihanna's "Love the Way You Lie" music video is reportedly scheduled to premiere this week on MTV Jamz.
According to a tweet from 24-hour music video channel MTV Jams, the video will premiere on Thursday, August 5th.
The clip for “Love the Way You Lie,” the second single from Eminem’s chart-topping album Recovery, will debut Thursday night (Aug. 5) on MTV. “Got the new @Eminem video featuring Rihanna,” tweeted the @MTVJams. “Very cinematic…Good shit! We’re premiering it too. This has been a good season for videos.” Director Joseph Kahn finished editing the video on Monday and had one request of his viewers. “Watch it fully streamed, volume turned up, quiet room, turn off your phone. Thanks,” he wrote on Twitter. (Rap-Up)

On July 21, Eminem and Rihanna teamed up in Los Angeles for video shoot of their duet track “Love the Way You Lie”. In a picture obtained by Rap Radar, the Slim Shady is seen sporting a casual white undershirt while the Barbadian singer is snapped wearing all-black-everything ensemble. More set images from the Wednesday filming are out via On Location News. They all capture Rihanna performing in front of a burning house. Eminem was “later seen but not photographed” performing together with her on the same set. (Ace Showbiz)
Details on what the music video’s actors will be doing have also been revealed.
Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan‘s roles are apparently inspired by Eminem’s relationship with ex-wife Kim (They married and divorced twice!). “Things start off with a sex scene between Megan and Dominic,” a source said. “Then they fight but end up having sex again.” The source described the look and feel of the video as “gritty” with “lots of passion.” (E! Rihanna recently talked about being recruited for Em’s record.
“It’s something that, you know, we’ve both experienced, you know, on different sides, different ends of the table,” Rihanna explained about her reason for taking part in the song. “He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it’s something that people don’t have a lot of insight on. I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it. It couldn’t just be, ‘Oh, Duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her. The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense.
