Earlier this year, the song’s producer, Alex Da Kid, spoke on Em’s preference to have Rihanna as the featured vocalist on the track.
“Eminem wanted Rihanna on the song. But even before all this happened, I’m working on her new album and so we’re already kinda working together and he just sent it to her and she just loved it. She doesn’t really do too much, as far as collaborations but everybody just loved it so much that they wanted to get on it.” (SOHH Guest Star)

Featuring top-notch actors Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan, it follows a tumultuous relationship with a lot of violent scenes. The music video is directed by Joseph Kahn and based on the troubled relationship between Eminem and his two-time ex-wife, Kim. “[It’s] essentially a look at the relationship that Eminem was in with his wife, Kim, so I kind of felt like I was playing Eminem a little bit, and Megan Fox was kind of playing Kim,” Monaghan told MTV.
