A new Eminem track called "Talkin' 2 Myself" has leaked online and features the rapper revealing that he once considered dissing Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
The track, featured on Em’s upcoming Recovery album, began to circulate online Monday (June 7).
“Hatred was flowing through my veins, on the verge of going insane, I almost made a song dissing Lil Wayne. It’s like I was jealous of him because of the attention he was getting, I felt horrible about myself. He was spittin’ and I wasn’t. Anyone who was buzzin back then could of got it, almost went at Kanye too. God it feels like I’m going psychotic. Thank god that I didn’t do it, I would of had my a** handed to me. And I knew it, but Proof isn’t here to see me through it….” (“Talkin’ 2 Myself”)
Recently, Em talked about snagging Weezy and other artists for his new album.
Producers on Recovery include… Just Blaze, DJ Khalil, Mr. Porter, Jim Jonsin, Alex Da Kid, Boi-1da and Dr. Dre. The metaphorical video for “Not Afraid” debuts Saturday. “The overall concept is basically just being in a dark place and trying to get to the light.” Rihanna – “It’s one of those tracks that I felt like only she could pull it off.” Pink – “I laid my parts first and kinda heard her on the record. I felt like she would smash this record, so I gave her a call and she was with it, so we did it.” Lil Wayne – “I’ve always respected what Wayne does. Last year, Em talked about T.I. and Lil Wayne helping re-motivate him back into rap.

You can appreciate Lil Wayne using different words to rhyme and actually rhyming words that you know. Or T.I., where you hear sh*t and you’re like Whoa, ah, I wish I would have thought of that!
