Grammy-winning rapper Eminem isn’t just a fan of protégé 50 Cent. Slim Shady has shared some serious birthday wishes to the G-Unit boss.
On Thursday, 50 posted a clip of Em saluting his born day and reciting his game-changing “Places To Go” 8 Mile soundtrack verse.
“Yo Fif, first off I want to say happy birthday. Secondly, I want to remind you of the verse you did that made me want to quit rapping. ‘Picture a perfect picture, picture me in a pimp hat, picture me starting sh*t, picture me bustin’ my gat, picture police mad, they ain’t got a picture of that, picture me being broke, picture me smoking a stack, picture me coming up, picture me rich from rap, picture me blowing up, now picture me going back back to my mama’s basement to live, sh*t, picture that, where I’m from it’s a fact, you gotta watch your back, you wear a vest without a gat, you a target jack, hustle hard, money stack, sell that dope, sell that crack, sell that pack, sell that gat, sell that p*ssy, holler back, 50 Cent, too much Henny, man I’m bent, I’m outta here.’ Yeah, so that made me want to stop rapping for like a long time. Anyways man, happy birthday. Love you, homie.”
Earlier in the day, 50 reflected on the early pre-fame support he received from New York radio personality DJ Kay Slay.
A few hours prior, Fif made a special birthday request to his fans.
New York radio personality DJ Envy and G-Unit’s Tony Yayo have both acknowledged Fif’s big day.
