OVO Sound leader Drake has dished on his admiration for G.O.O.D. Music boss Kanye West and revealed plans for them to release a collaborative effort.
In a new Beats 1 interview, Drizzy said he previously planned to put out an underground or even studio release with Yeezy.
“We had plans, we were supposed to do a mixtape together, album together, so maybe we’ll get that done.” (Beats 1)

The Canadian rapper revealed his distanced relationship with Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj in the same interview.
“I don’t really talk to Nicki. Another person I have a lot of love for … She dealt with me how I would expect her to – with class. I always have respect and love for her. Unfortunately, we haven’t spoke.” (Beats 1)
Drake also spoke on his bond with rap star Jay Z and his presence on their “Pop Style” collaboration.
“Jay didn’t really do a verse. I was just trying to get ‘Ye on it first. Jay kinda just did my first few lines for me and that’s how we flexed it … It didn’t play out how I wanted it to go. Sometimes (Jay) and I just fall on opposite sides of the spectrum. It’s always mutual respect but sometimes it has to be from afar.” (Beats 1)
