The site’s founder confirmed her decision to move forward onto new opportunities this week.

Karla “hustlegrl” Moy, founder of the site, posted the announcement on Monday (November 28), along with a thank you to all of the site’s visitors for supporting their efforts throughout the years. “I’m on the verge of starting a new chapter in my life so it was simply time for me to move on and explore other opportunities,” Moy tells XXLmag. “ATF is still a part of me and I am so thankful for it.” The site launched in 2007, before Drake’s rise to stardom and has since continuously supported the Young Money MC, hosting content related to his career and exclusive material. Drake has rapped “ATF” in songs, which was the vision of hometown several friends, including Moy, and Houston’s Jas Prince. (XXL Mag)

Fans visiting All Things Fresh this week are greeted with a final farewell message.

GRAND CLOSING: THANK YOU For visiting All Things Fresh during these past years and throughout this musical journey. For that, you will forever be in our debt. You’re all appreciated. For real. (All Things Fresh)

Last year, Drizzy reflected on how his online buzz helped pave the way to his current success.

“Initially, I think I just didn’t know what would happen,” Drake recalls. “I was this rapper with a little bit of buzz, the internet was taking over, and I didn’t know the power of the internet at that point. The true power of social networking and the things we are so emmersed in now. There wasn’t an artist that had been 100% birthed from that outlet and I think to be discovered on MySpace, how I was found, and for it to somehow reach [Lil] Wayne‘s ears and for him to feel so confident about it and call me and to release a mixtape on the internet again and have a record somehow go #1 off a mixtape using the internet as a tool. It was all amazing because it was all a first, I can’t remember that happening in my day. Even if you think of 50 [Cent], [Kanye West], and [Young] Jeezy, I remember having hard copies of all of those tapes. I remember it being more about the radio.” (Global Grind)

Outside of viral buzz, Drake’s new Take Care solo album debuted atop the chart last week.

Leading the pack this week is Young Money star Drake’s Take Care at No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Drizzy’s new LP has sold 631,500 copies after a week in stores. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
