OVO Sound leader Drake is going to keep European fans waiting. The hip-hop star has announced a delay in a highly-anticipated Boy Meets World international tour.
According to the 6 God’s team, production issues have forced an unexpected setback from the run starting up on January 21st.
Drake’s management issued the following statement regarding the postponements: “We would like to inform you that shows on the ‘Boy Meets World Tour’ in Amsterdam, London, Glasgow are being moved to new dates. Drake wanted to create a special experience for fans in Europe and the UK so he has added some incredible new features to an already specular production. Unfortunately due to unforeseen production setbacks it will need a little more time to be ready. Drake can’t wait to see all his fans so he can deliver an amazing and memorable experience.” (XXL Mag)
Back in October, Drake announced his Boy Meets World global tour dates.
In early October, Drizzy showed off a picture of himself in recovery following a concert performance.
A week prior, Drake appeared to bounce back from an ankle injury during a Chicago performance.
The rapper played a show in Chicago Wednesday night, and based on the running he did onstage in this video … his “recent ankle injury” isn’t nearly as bad as he made it sound when he postponed a bunch of shows earlier in the day. Get ready for the conspiracy theories, especially since one of the delayed concerts is in Philly, Meek Mill’s turf. (TMZ)
