Drake’s Alleged “Nothing Was The Same” Tracklist Leaks? Boi-1da Speaks Out

Young Money’s Drake may not have a release date for his long-awaited Nothing Was The Same but the album’s alleged tracklisting leaking had the Internet in an uproar on Memorial Day.

The star-studded alleged line-up hit the Internet early Monday.

Another day, another alleged tracklist for a big album leaks to the Internet. Two days ago, Kanye West‘s tracklist to Yeezus leaked early, but so far no one has confirmed it was real. Earlier this evening, a tracklist for Drake’s Nothing Was The Same hit the web, which was originally posted on Dennis Graham‘s Instagram. (XXL Mag)

Reports even suggested Drizzy’s father may have been responsible for the leak.

Drake’s father Dennis Graham stunted on Instagram to reveal (then later delete) what could possibly be the tracklist for Drizzy’s forthcoming effort Nothing Was The Same. With the characteristic OVO owl and golden block lettering, the rundown looks legit and pulls back the curtain on an insane cast on wax: Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and YMCMB brethren Lil Wayne and Birdman. Even Drake’s new “artist” PARTYNEXTDOOR gets a slot but weirdly no Nicki. Frequent beat collaborators Noah “40” Shebib and Boi-1da also make an appearance. (VIBE)

Drake’s go-to producer Boi-1da made sure to immediately kill the speculation.

“Fake tracklist,” Boi tweeted May 27th. (Boi-1da’s Twitter)

With his album still in the works, the Toronto native recently locked in studio time alongside rap mogul Jay-Z.

And another Jay-Z collaboration is on the horizon. After Raekwon instagrammed a picture of himself and Hove a couple of days ago, another pic of Jay and Drake has now surfaced. The picture was taken by Lenny Santiago, the longtime A&R over at Def Jam and friend of Jay. This caption has been added: “Warning: Please be very afraid of the music we’re working on. OVO x ROCNATION” As we know, Drizzy is working on his new album Nothing Was The Same this summer, it is also rumored that Jay-Z is working on a full-length as well. (Hype Trak)
