According to Birdman, complications with Drake schedule and his decision to save Drizzy’s pre-recorded tracks for another project resulted in the album no-show.

“Drake was recording out the country,” Baby revealed. “I got songs, ’cause we doing the Big Tymers album, so I just said, ‘We’re gonna do our Big Tymers things.’ I think it’ll be even more special ’cause the question you asking is what a lot of people are going to ask. [Chris Brown?] Nah, nah, nah, I ain’t got nothing to do with the Chris Brown and Drake thing, I don’t know nothing about that. Drake’s blood. That’s my family, that’s my love and we rock with Chris, but I don’t know nothing about their differences but Drake was recording his album at the time and we started working on the Big Tymers album and me and Wayne said we’d wait and drop it with the Big Tymers record comes in September, October.” (RapFix)

Despite Drake’s absence, the retail project is slated to land on the music sales chart next week.
