Young Money star Drake appeared to silence online chatter earlier this week about some outlandish Super Bowl Weekend parties he threw and revealed why he stays mum in the Twitterverse.

Hopping onto Twitter, Drizzy Drake said his life is more often mundane and simplistic despite what his high-profile image would suggest.

“I never tweet what I’m doing cause it’d just be like “yooo who else is up eating granola and watching aubrey plaza interview snippets”,” Drake tweeted February 6th.

“And the answer to my question of who else is up doing that specific order of things at this time is clearly nobody. #Thinkingthingsthrough” (Drake’s Twitter)

Some websites and media outlets believe Drake’s tweets were a direct response to recent Super Bowl-related rumors.

The Young Money star reportedly sent out invites to models and strippers telling them about the festivities. MTO adds, “women were told to get in their bikinis and enjoy the party. And it was quite a party … people were OPENLY engaging in sexual contact with exotic dancers.” The website claims people were smoking weed and taking drugs at the event that was eventually shut down by the police. Sounds like quite the event, but did it happen? RumorFix has contact the LAPD who tells us they don’t have any record of breaking up a party at Drake’s house on Sunday. And right after MTO posted their story, Drake joked on Twitter. (RumorFix)

Back in late 2011, the Young Money protégé revealed his issues with Twitter.

“I’ll tell you, my biggest thing was, I remember, it was on Twitter. I remember the day my mom was getting surgery and someone came on Twitter and they were like, ‘Yo, Drake, I hope your mom dies.’ You don’t really mean that. Like, you know you’re going to see something bad. Out of 1000 compliments, it’s so crazy. It’s basically, like, when you used to sit there as a kid, and want to know what everyone is thinking. That’s your superpower. [Twitter is] knowing what everyone is thinking.” (The Source)

Despite the Canadian emcee’s complications, hip-hop artists like 50 Cent have embraced the online social networking tool.

“I think it’s great. I think it allows you the ability to make a public statement from your telephone,” 50 explained when asked about his love for Twitter. “It allows you to reach your base, the people who have interest in your material or what you’re doing, at any time — I think entertainers are supposed to entertain on it versus provide more of their personal lives insight. But, it’s cool. Everybody utilizes it differently.” (CNN)
