Young Money’s Drake has taken a moment away from the recording studio to publicly shower longtime OVO Sound producer Noah “40” Shebib with praise.
Drizzy gushed over 40’s greatness and loyalty on Instagram last night (April 28).
Last month, Drake publicly shouted out 40 with a birthday nod on Instagram.
Recently, 40 dished on what fans could expect from Drizzy’s Views studio album.
“It’s going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us,” Mr. Shebib said. “A lot of introspection, very vivid. He’s discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns.” As for the music, “I’m trying to find ways to pull more untraditional sounds in, to push the boundaries a little further.” The overall approach may be the same as the one that the duo has finely honed, but still, Mr. Shebib said, “Something about it should be special.” (New York Times)
