Young Money’s Drake may have finally spoken out on being attacked by Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill this week with the release of a new track called “Charged Up.”

The unexpected music gem premiered via Drizzy’s Apple Music OVO Sound radio station Saturday (July 25).

“I did some charity today for the kids/But I’m used to it cause all y’all charity cases/All y’all stare in my face in hopes you could be the replacement/N*ggas snitching on us without no interrogation
I stay silent ‘cause we at war and I’m very patient/Six God is watching, I just hope you’re prepared to face him … Must I remind you that Jimmy got 20 million on it/Need DJ Clue to drop a bomb on it/None of them want this sh*t more than I want it/I seen it all coming, knew they were pushing buttons … I see you n*ggas having trouble going gold
Turning into some so and so’s that no one knows
But so it go … No woman ever had me star struck/Or was able to tell me to get my bars up/I’m charged up” (“Charged Up”)

Radio personality Funkmaster Flex released an alleged reference track with Drizzy’s alleged ghostwriter a few days ago.

The song is “10 Bands” … and Quentin Miller’s version is damn near identical to Drake’s. Funkmaster Flex first played it late Wednesday on NYC’s Hot 97 … throwing gasoline on the fire Meek started by accusing Drake of not writing his own raps — a HUGE insult in hip hop. Meek and a few other rappers are claiming Drake used Quentin’s take as a reference to record his final version. For what it’s worth … Miller does have credits on several Drake tracks, including “10 Bands.” (TMZ)

Meek unleashed his fury onto Twitter Tuesday (July 21) with disses aimed at Drizzy.

      • did u read ur statement “warning shot” drake is that of a superior artist not even jay talked about warning shot when dissing his cohorts back in the day is either subliminal or i just say straight up basically let u know meek was right

        • Jay was warning Nas for a while before Nas ripped him……in fact, if we gonna call biting someone ghostwriting, then biggie been writing for jay for years…thats a real ghost writer!.

          • Paying homage by quoting famous lines from a dead homie isn’t biting. It’s not like he was using obscure Biggie lines, he was using lines everyone knew belonged to Biggie. its just showing love

          • Most people with sense realized this, you can’t explain that to ignorant motherfuckers.

  1. Somebody please let me know about one Meek mill hip hop quotable…I’m asking for one…I’ll wait

  2. You can’t ride to this and you can’t get pumped up to this shit, what kinda new generation wack diss track is this?!? I bet I never purposely listen to that again…

  3. is it that dudes hate drake that much?,,or is it that meek actually has stans?,,,ill wait

  4. Lol,this fool making a dis love song,i miss hiphop from 80’s,90’s,and early 2000’s era

  5. Lol,this fool making a dis love song,i miss hiphop from 80’s,90’s,and early 2000’s era. This new rap shit is disappointing in every way lol!!

  6. complete joke , Meek mill is jus another rapper nothing special and definitely not a better musician in an imagination , Drake is basic rapper too , but far better artist or musician as a whole , ghostwriter or not he makes better music. What has meek mill done, to even have an opinion , all this facade abt street life , etc , man forget that.

  7. if you just listen to the beats and not the lyrics you stupid. he talk about his female, music career, and the fact he broke compared to him. i know drake is not street but i respect the fact he not trying to be at the end of the day meek mill scared all you meek mill fans your boy be on twitter every day he hasn’t wrote anything in 2 days not even the fact he suppose to be on funk flex why is that? listen to drake lyrics catch the punches he basically got meek wondering if he hit nikki or not you gotta remember meek hit nikki while she was with SB so its possible. you guys stuck on beats and he not hype for what! let meek come out screaming so he can get hurt because meek cant rap a whole war. maybe a song. he thought this was going to be like wale. drake was going to call and be like calm down lets talk about it im sorry. drake did what a real MC does respond
