Young Money's Drake kept his word about toasting it up last night (October 19) in Washington, D.C., enjoying a graduation/birthday celebration throughout the nation's capital heading into the weekend.
According to reports and handfuls of photos, Drizzy took in the good life Friday evening.
The liquor was flowing as Drake celebrated his 26th birthday and graduation from high school at a party presented by Hennessy V.S in Washington, D.C. during Howard University Homecoming Weekend. Rocking rose-colored glasses and a black velour floral-print shirt, the Young Money rapper hit the stage at the swanky Park on Fourteenth to perform his hits including “I’m on One” and “Forever.” He later retired to the VIP section where he and his OVO crew popped bottles of Hennessy V.S. Earlier in the evening, Drizzy turned it up with 2 Chainz at Howard Homecoming’s Yardfest, performing “No Lie” and speaking to the students. “I graduated high school, so you see what my campaign is about this year,” he said while wearing a red Howard sweatshirt. “I went right to the bookstore, I’m tryna come to school with ya’ll. I know I’m the lightest light-skinned ni**a of all time, but I hope that I…” (Rap-Up)
A day prior, the platinum-selling rapper revealed his Washington, D.C. party plans.
“My early birthday celebration @Parkat14th in DC tomorrow night!,” he tweeted Thursday evening.

A slew of hip-hop and Hollywood entertainers congratulated Drizzy on completing high school this week including Nick Cannon.
“Congrats @Drake http://bit.ly/UahSY1 Sound so smart, like you graduated #highschool #makemeproud,” Nick tweeted October 18th. (Nick Cannon’s Twitter)
Back in 2011, the Young Money star revealed he gave up school to financially support his family.
“My mother was very sick. We were poor, like broke. The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, which isn’t that much money when you break it down,” Drake said referring to “Degrassi.” “A season of Canadian television is under a teacher’s salary, I’ll tell you that much. It’s definitely not something to go f*cking get.” (Complex)
