Young Money rapper Drake has paid homage to the memory of fellow Canadian hip-hop artist Redway on social media following his fatal car crash this past weekend.
Drizzy posted up a couple of pictures to remember the Toronto emcee Sunday (August 2).
Details of the shocking tragedy went viral early Saturday (August 1).
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on the Highway 427 northbound ramp to the westbound Highway 401 when a Honda Accord struck the right side of the guardrail, according to the OPP. Two people were found dead in the car and one was pulled out of the vehicle for resuscitation. Police have not released the age or gender of those deceased but Sgt. Kerry Schmidt with Toronto OPP confirmed the incident involved a male driver. (CBC News)
The passing also shook up fellow Canadian artist Kardinal Offishall.
