Young Money's Drake and ILoveMakonnen have linked up to treat fans to a visual to their catchy "Tuesday" remix.
The new music video premiered online late Monday (October 20) night.
Ever since Drake remixed his underground hit “Club Goin’ Up on a Tuesday” and signed him to OVO Sound, ILoveMakonnen has become an overnight sensation. Now the Atlanta rapper has everyone singing along to his Sonny Digital-produced hit in the video for “Tuesday.” He sips out of Styrofoam cups with Drizzy and his OVO crew, and shares his strange fascination with dolls. Women don masks, much like the ones that appear on his album artwork, while a smiling Makonnen sings about molly. (Rap-Up)

Over the weekend, ILoveMakonnen announced his signing to OVO Sound and now The Game drops a remix to the Atlanta singer’s Drake-assisted single “Tuesday” (on a Wednesday). The Compton rapper has Supperclub goin’ up on a Tuesday, complete with Xanax, D’USSÉ, and some Boosie. (Rap-Up)
According to reports, Drizzy broke the news of his executive move to sign ILOVEMAKONNEN a few weeks ago.
After Drake made popular the underground “Tuesday” hit, he featured ILOVEMAKONNEN at the Drake vs. Lil’ Wayne tour in Atlanta, where it was announced that the 25-year-old artist signed to Drizzy’s Warner-based imprint OVO Sound. (HHW)
The Toronto native promptly released a revamped version of ILOVEMAKONNEN’s “Tuesday” anthem this past summer.
He gave Tinashe’s “2 On” an extra boost when he added a verse to it, and he gives a similar treatment to ILOVEMAKONNEN’s single “Club Goin’ Up on a Tuesday.” The melodic track, produced by Metro Boomin & Sonny Digital is featured on the Atlanta artist’s June EP I Love Makonnen. One listen to the hook and you can tell that it’s right up Drake’s alley. (MTV)
