With footage currently circulating online, Drizzy’s true loyalty and presence lighted up Wayne’s Buffalo showcase.

Drake is still down with Young Money. October’s Very Own shut down the rumors of a rift with YMCMB when he appeared as a surprise guest during Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” show at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York last night. He hit the stage with Weezy, Birdman, and Mack Maine to perform his remix to “Versace.” Backstage, he repped for the team, wearing a Rich Gang hat and chilling with Young Money’s new boy band W3 the Future. This week, Young Money’s Nicki Minaj did weigh-in with some thoughts on why people may think Drizzy is not fully behind Young Money.

“I just feel like people’s perception of their reality is their perception of their reality,” Nicki said in an interview. “Sometimes people make moves based on their perception of what reality is and I know that sounds like a riddle, but maybe one day you’ll be able to unravel that one. … All I can say is he’s so talented. Sometimes when you’re really intelligent and you’re really talented, you also think a lot and sometimes your mind is racing with thoughts. It is what it is. People go through their own emotions and you gotta respect it and keep it moving. We all love the team.” (Hot 97)

She also said no matter the situation, her love for the Toronto native will never change.

“Drake is my baby ’cause that’s how we were when we came in so whenever I think of him I’ll be like, ‘Oh, that’s my baby.’ Whatever is going on now, obviously we’re all very busy, and you know, sh*t happens. It gets a little hard to have a real connection when people are on different sides of the world and working on different things. You never know who people got in their ear or what they feeling. Maybe they felt wronged in some way. I don’t know, but I just know that Drake is my baby and Wayne is my everything.” (Hot 97)

Last week, Cash Money Records CEO Birdman said complications with Drake’s schedule and his decision to save Drizzy’s pre-recorded tracks for another project resulted in a Rich Gang compilation album no-show.

“Drake was recording out the country,” Baby revealed. “I got songs, ’cause we doing the Big Tymers album, so I just said, ‘We’re gonna do our Big Tymers things.’ I think it’ll be even more special ’cause the question you asking is what a lot of people are going to ask. [Chris Brown?] Nah, nah, nah, I ain’t got nothing to do with the Chris Brown and Drake thing, I don’t know nothing about that. Drake’s blood. That’s my family, that’s my love and we rock with Chris, but I don’t know nothing about their differences but Drake was recording his album at the time and we started working on the Big Tymers album and me and Wayne said we’d wait and drop it with the Big Tymers record comes in September, October.” (RapFix)

Earlier this year, Drizzy appeared at Birdman’s Texas birthday party and declared his loyalty to YMCMB.

“I want to say happy birthday to the man that made it all possible,” Drake said at Birdman’s birthday bash during NBA All-Star Weekend 2013. “I got to tell you, tonight, it was an amazing All-Star Weekend — I just want to say that as I’m standing in front of you tonight as a man that’s about to be with Young Money, Cash Money for — I don’t know how many albums, I play for my team and I’m just happy to say that sh*t. … Toast to the Birdman tonight, happy birthday.” (“Derick G”)
