Young Money’s Drake is reportedly joining in on the fun of Anchorman: The Legend Continues by appearing on-set during the long-awaited film’s production.
While details are still fuzzy, Drizzy is shown donning a Jewfro and thick sideburns in a new photo currently circulating online.
Drake started from the bottom and now he’s in “Anchorman 2.” The Canadian rap star was spotted on the set of “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” on Saturday afternoon in New York. Drake, who famously appeared on “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” joins fellow hip-hop icon Kanye West in the cameo-heavy “Anchorman” sequel. West was photographed on the film’s Atlanta set on May 10. Shots of rap star Kanye West and additional cast members like Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and more sprouted online last week.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues is back in Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta, GA today and the cameos will continue, too (rumor has it Vince Vaughn is on set today). According to permits, filming will continue near Park Peachtree St between Marietta St and Auburn Ave (along Woodruff Park) through Monday. Below are a few more pictures from Wednesday’s shoot, including new photos of Kanye West, Paul Rudd, John C. Reilly, Steve Carell, and Jim Carrey thanks to @Live1DNews. (On Location Vacations)
Earlier in the week, reports claimed Yeezy and current girlfriend Kim Kardashian were spotted around the movie set.
Kanye West has joined the “Anchorman 2″ movie filming in downtown Atlanta. His expectant boo Kim Kardashian joined him for a time but was on a flight from Alanta back to Los Angeles Wednesday morning, according to our serendipitously placed sources. We don’t know that she was ever actually on the Woodruff Park set – probably for security/privacy reasons – but they were spotted downtown together Tuesday. She was wearing a chic white trench coat when she flew out this morning, according to a high-flying source who happened to be on the same flight. (Access Atlanta)
An eyewitness also came forward with some details about Yeezy’s on-set habits.
Hollywood.com reports that West was spotted in downtown Atalanta filming a scene with Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd, both of whom are returning from the original “Anchorman.” The witness, who saw the trio filming on a rooftop, reportedly says West was “quite afraid of heights and required an umbrella for shade most of the time he was on the roof.” (Huffington Post)
Anchorman: The Legend Continues is expected to premiere in December.
