Young Money rapper Drake has stepped forward to clear the air on reports claiming he got into a physical altercation with Chris Brown last night (June 13) in New York City.
According to Drizzy’s camp, he partied at the same spot as Breezy but did not partake in any violent acts.
Drake is adamant … he is not responsible for the bloody gash on Chris Brown’s face … claiming he was simply leaving the nightclub when the brawl broke out … but sources tell us, the fight started after Chris Brown and a rapper at Drake’s table started trash talking each other. The rapper hanging with Drake — Meek Mill — was screaming at Chris and Chris was giving it right back to Meek Mill. One of Chris’ lieutenants was also involved in the screaming match. One source says Chris was hurt when Meek Mill hit him with a bottle. A rep for Drake tells TMZ … “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.” The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.” (TMZ)

Drake is denying rumors that he administered a viciously epic fade to Chris Brown and his cohorts. Reps for the Young Money rapper sent a statement to Hip-Hop Wired stating that the allegations regarding his involvement are false. Here’s a recent unofficial video we just got that is allegedly during the time the altercation was going on! You can hear the crowd reacting to the fight (in the far right) but it’s kinda hard to tell if it’s Drake and Chris Brown’s camp. (The Box Houston)
Brown has also come forward to deny getting into an altercation with rapper Meek Mill at the club.

One of SOHH’s reporters provided a detailed account of what went down Thursday.
“I attended Teyana Taylor‘s GOOD Music signing party at Greenhouse in SOHO, NYC. Drake and Chris Brown were there with their crews,” a SOHH reporter says. “As we are dancing, all I heard was a lot movement and screaming going on. I heard a glass break multiple times. As I looked into the VIP section I see the members of Drake’s crew in Chris Brown’s section trying to approach Chris. Chris’ entourage jumped in and that’s when more bottles were thrown pushing and shoving, fist swinging and the girls that were with both crews were screaming and yelling “stop”. The music stopped and some people were actually running out of the club. As the fight is still going on, Chris Brown’s crew actually got Drake’s crew in the bathroom. It was too many people trying to get into the bathroom to see if Drake or Chris Brown was in there. Outside I was told Chris Brown was hit with a bottle and thats when sh*t got real.” (SOHH)
