Young Money’s Drake and one-time rival Chris Brown‘s unexpected recent hookup has nothing to do with their ex-girlfriend Rihanna and is reportedly all about business. #cream
According to the latest reports, Drizzy will appear on Chris Breezy’s upcoming solo album.
They’re now in the studio … laying tracks down for Chris’ new album. We’re told Drake will perform with Chris on some of the songs and he’ll also be the producer. Two other reasons Chris and Drake think working together will sell more albums: — People will pick the lyrics apart, trying to figure out if they are talking about Rihanna … the woman who they both slept with and the catalyst for the W.i.P. brawl. — Everyone wants to hear who sounds better — Chris or Drake. A new photo of Drizzy and Breezy in a recording studio surfaced online Friday (July 11).
A Drake stan Instagram page posted a photo of the OVO/YMCMB rapper and his former bottle-brawlin’ nemesis, Chris Brown, in the studio together early this morning. In the photo, it appears that Chris is singing while Drake holds a double-cup and listens intently. No word on whether or not the two frenemies worked on any music together or if this was just a bonding session to build some good vibrations. (Bossip)
Earlier reports suggested Breezy had started to rekindle the flame with RiRi.
R&B star Brown — who just completed a 90-day stint in anger management rehab — has been texting the “Diamonds” singer, and friends say they’re “freaking out” that Rihanna could rekindle a romance with Brown. At the same time, the sexy singer performed and partied with Drake in Paris, sparking rumors of a relationship. “Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since,” said a source close to the singers. Last October, a photo of Drizzy and Brown hanging out in a studio hit the ‘net.
“Hanging with Drake in the studio,” the 24-year-old pop star posted early Thursday, seemingly hinting at a collaboration between the “Started From The Bottom” rapper and the “Run It” singer. (E! Online)
