Despite the speculation, Brown said no formal talks were needed to kill their feud.

“We’re young, so it’s not like [we had] a pow wow over tea or nothing. It didn’t need to be explained. It wasn’t no problem. … I wanted to be able to bring light to the situation and just grow up. I’m 25 and I’m not getting younger. You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. I’m tired of being looked at as the aggressor, so I just wanted to show my maturity.” (MTV)

This guy claims he’s responsible for bringing the peace to Drake and Chris…

Music producer Mally Mall addressed the now-ended beef when approached by paparazzi in Los Angeles last July.

Hip hop producer Mally Mall played a key role in settling Drake and Chris Brown’s longstanding feud … because he brought them together at his house in Las Vegas. When we caught up with Mally in L.A. … he said “the past is the past” for Breezy and Drizzy, and that Rihanna’s name never came up during their recording sessions in Mally’s home studio. They’ve come a long way from 2 years ago when they destroyed W.i.P. Nightclub in New York in an all-out brawl over RiRi — but Mally says … “We squashed the beef.” (TMZ)

Brown shocked fans after coming through for an “ESPY’s” awards show spoof with Drake this summer.

The stars, whose posses came to blows in 2012 in an NYC nightclub, referred to the incident in the clip. Blake Griffin joined the fun, too — first battling it out with the 2014 ESPYS host over whether their segment should be called “Blake and Drake” or “Drake and Blake.” In the skit, the two somehow end up in a dentist’s office, with NBA player Griffin, 25, hovering over his rival, in the style of Steve Martin‘s memorable scene from 1986 movie, Little Shop of Horrors. The horrified “Started From the Bottom” rapper asks Griffin, “Are you really going to do this?” Suddenly, Brown — holding surgical tools — appears and says, “No. I am!” (Us Magazine)

A photo of Drizzy and Breezy in a recording studio surfaced online around mid-July.

A Drake stan Instagram page posted a photo of the OVO/YMCMB rapper and his former bottle-brawlin’ nemesis, Chris Brown, in the studio together early this morning. In the photo, it appears that Chris is singing while Drake holds a double-cup and listens intently. No word on whether or not the two frenemies worked on any music together or if this was just a bonding session to build some good vibrations. (Bossip)
