OVO Sound leader Drake recently talked about the ills longtime pal Kanye West has gone through over the past few months. The 6 God reflected on having a close-knit bond with Yeezy and yet receiving disses from him too.

In a recent interview, Drizzy acknowledged having fallen victim to a past Ye on-stage rant.

“I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time because, in the same breath, I went from working on a project with him to him sort of, like, publicly sh*tting on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much. When I hear that, I just distance myself from it. If that’s what it is, I don’t even really understand the point you’re trying to make, but whatever it is that you’re going through, I accept it. I don’t respect it at all.” (DJ Semtex)

Back in November, Drake added some fuel to a now-mythical joint Kanye West project.

Last fall, Kanye publicly revealed rap pal Jay Z fell back on collaborating with him and Drake.

In September, Yeezy admitted he had new music on deck with the Toronto native.

Kanye West has confirmed that he and Drake are working on an album together. Speaking to Vogue, West said: “We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio. We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.” (The Guardian)
