According to Nati, the New York rap veteran’s name is getting used for fake bookings.

“This is a very unfortunate situation. We have been notified that bookings have been made all over the country and DMX knew nothing about it,” Nati told SOHH exclusively via statement. “DMX wants nothing more than to perform for his fans and we ask that everyone would only go through his approved contacts so that there are no more missed shows or fraudulent bookings.” (SOHH)

Back in January, X publicly barked back at bogus booking reports.

An angry post from the rapper, real name Earl Simmons, reads, “SOME S— IN THIS INDUSTRY NEVER CHANGES….. I WAS NOT BOOKED FOR A SHOW IN SACRAMENTO ON FEB 18TH !!! THEY JUST PUT UP A FACEBOOK PAGE OR WHATEVA YOU CALL IT FOR ME ILL MAKE SURE THEY PUT THE REAL DATES UP !” But despite his anger about the false rumours has no plans to take legal action. When pressed by fans to file a suit against the perpetrator, DMX, who has been in and out of jail in recent years, added, “SON THE LAST PLACE I WANT TO BE IS A COURTROOM.” (Toronto Sun)

Around mid-September, the rapper’s long-awaited Undisputed LP debuted in the Top 20.

New York rap veteran DMX’s Undisputed debuted on the chart at No. 19. With seven days under his belt, the former Ruff Ryders leader’s newest effort has sold 17,400 units. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
